The Van Gilder Hotel is located in the heart of the historic district of downtown Seward, between third and fourth on Adams Street . To get there from the Seward Highway, (the only road into town) or from the Harbor or Railroad terminals, drive into downtown Seward on Third Avenue-which is the Seward Highway and also the main road into Seward. Turn left onto Adams Street and the Van Gilder Hotel is on your immediate left, adjacent to the Seward Theatre.
